Well... those Kerubi people had made some pretty damn good sandwiches. And some of the audience of 12 semeed to like us.

Over three hundred people squeezed in. Once again we also had a DJ set. Gee, I hope those nice people at Kerubi get some new gear before we go there again. One half-functioning record player and one OK cd player just isn't quite enough ;) OK gig. Aavikko were excellent.

10.07.99 Imatra Small band fest w/Atari Satan, Panhu

Sort of a private party. About a hundred people showed up. DJ Bastu did some excellent scratching on some of our tracks. We played a loooong set with extended versions of many tracks.

03.07.1999 Purppuraklubi, Hämeenlinna w/Aavikko, Dynamo

Thee greatest looking venue we've ever seen. It looked exactly like a lounge from a 70's TV action series. It's a pity that the staff played such lousy music all night long. Metallica! Offspring! JUDAS PRIEST!! Yep, in Finland we have this thing called JOKU TOLKKU! Despite that and the fact that the mixer cut us off when we still had three songs to play (only to put some Bon Jovi on), we enjoyed playing and the crowd seemed to groove along nicely, too. Maximum respect to the ÄMY-Rock posse. And to Aavikko. They rule.

Weird but OK gig at a student party in a hut. Honest!

Our 1st proper gig and at a classic venue. We also had a DJ set, so the mood was good as we were able to play our fave grooves all night long (although people were asking us to play some Popeda or Yö records. We didn't). Our version of Tom Waits' "Way Down In The Hole" seemed to sink in well. Some 150 people turned up which was nice as there was no other band playing.
